About CulturePass

Tides Museum of Art

CulturePass seeks to gain and provide access to a greater understanding of the rich cultural heritage and artistic life of the greater Passamaquoddy region. Our common shoreline border, including Cobscook Bay, Passamaquoddy Bay and the St. Croix River, the convergence of cultures around the bay, Canadian, American, and Passamaquoddy first nation, give us a unique perspective on the world which is reflected in the work we do and the art we create. We invite you to be included in the CulturePass Network as we seek to document the wide range of cultural, historic, folk, traditional, fine arts and craft practices of our region. Filling out our Online Form to join the Network is the first step in becoming a part of the CulturePass Network including a listing within the CulturePass website.

CulturePass or the greater Passamaquoddy Region includes Passamaquoddy and Cobscook Bays, the lower St. Croix River and the northwest section of the Bay of Fundy. Included in the region are the communities of Beaver Harbour, Blacks Harbour, Calais, Campobello, Charlotte, Deer Island, Dennysville, Eastport, Edmunds, Grand Manan, Letete, Lubec, Pembroke, Perry, Robbinston, St. Andrews, St. George, St. Stephen, Sipayik, Trescott, and Whiting.

CulturePass is a project of the Tides Institute & Museum of Art in partnership with other collaborating institutions, organizations, and individuals.
