Saturday, February 20th 10 am to 3 pm Join with CCLC president and Passamaquoddy tribal member, Stephanie Bailey, for a day of beadwork. Stephanie has been making jewelry with Passamaquoddy-inspired designs for years. In this session, Stephanie will lead participants from start to finish through learning the peyote stitch, and each person will be able to choose between making earrings or a keychain. “This is my favorite stitch,” says Stephanie. “This stitch can be a little confusing for beginners, but once people get it, it’s a fun and easy stitch and can be used for many projects.” Participants should bring a lunch. The course fee is between $5 and $50, and there will be a $5 materials fee.
