Beginning Knitting with Beth Roy. Saturday, February 27 9 am – Noon. Winter is a great time to learn to knit, and this class will get you started in this fun and practical craft. In this workshop you’ll learn everything you need to know to get into knitting – how to cast on stitches; how to knit, purl, increase, decrease, and more. Practice all of these skills while making a dish cloth sampler. Yarn will be provided. Participants will need #6 straight needles for this class. A few sets will be available to borrow. Please call ahead to reserve one of these sets. The cost for this course is between $3 and $30 plus a $3 materials fee.
