This year marks the Third Annual Hearts Warming Hearts Bikini and Speedo Run in Eastport, Maine. A home grown event born out of love for our neighbors. Last year 12 brave human runners and one four legged friend put on on their bikinis and speedos and ran through the freezing cold 5 blocks to raise over $4000 for heating fuel assistance. As the temperatures hover at the freezing mark as I write this, those funds are still helping. We hope to expand the run this year by getting more locals running. We are tapping into the hundreds of supporters of the Eastport Pirate Festival this year. It would be great fun to see a few pirates in bikinis and speedos at the starting line. It would be great if you can participate as a runner, form a team of runners, pledge your financial support to a runner or turn out to cheer on the starting line Valentine's Day, February 14th at 2:00 PM. The run will start at Post Office Square and end at The Happy Crab where Hot Chocolate and Pizza will be waiting for everyone.
