Opening Reception for Margins of Safety - Paintings by Sarah Faragher

"Margins of Safety", explores the edges of long-familiar landscapes. According to Faragher, a margin can be an edge and the area near it; a margin of safety is the amount allowed beyond what is needed, past a break-even point. Many of the paintings in the exhibit depict landscapes in Washington County and areas around the Penobscot Bay. An opening reception for Fargher will be held on Wednesday, February 10, from 6 – 8 p.m., providing an opportunity to meet the artist and hear about her work. Light refreshments will be provided.
