Class/Workshop

Trescott - Cobscook Community Learning Center - 10 Commissary Point Road

This workshop will provide the home herbalist with the basics of plant harvesting and processing for tinctures, glycerites, syrups, teas, decoctions, infused vinegars, oils, salves, and creams. A bit of plant identification and discussion of specific herbs will also be provided. Participants will bring home an herbal medicine that they make in class. The workshop will be led by Amy Zipperer. Course fee is $6 to $20 (sliding scale). Registration deadline is July 14. A minimum of eight participants is required to run this class.
